Partner Scholarships for SYSU 2+2 Transfer Students

If you are a SYSU transfer student coming through the IU Indianapolis 2+2 agreement and will be studying Business, Actuarial Science,  Computer Science, or Earth Science, then you may qualify for the following scholarships. 

Application must be submitted by: March 1 
Admission is possible for Fall Semester only.

All supporting documents must be submitted by: March 15 

The application and all supporting documents must be submitted by May 1 to be considered for a scholarship.

International Partner Outstanding Scholar Award $18,000 USD per year 

  • SYSU GPA required: 90-100
  • $9000 USD each Fall and Spring semester during first year of enrollment
  • Renew this award for Year 2 by maintaining a cumulative IU Indianapolis GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Total for 2 years = $36,000 USD

International Partner Academic Merit Award $11,000 USD per year 

  • SYSU GPA required: 80-89
  • $5,500 USD each Fall and Spring semester during first year of enrollment
  • Renew this award for Year 2 by maintaining a cumulative IU Indianapolis GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Total for 2 years = $22,000 USD

SYSU Partnership Transfer Award $4,000 USD per year

  • SYSU GPA required: 75-79
  • $2000 USD each Fall and Spring semester during first year of enrollment
  • Renew this award for Year 2 by maintaining a cumulative IU Indianapolis GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Total for 2 years = $8,000 USD
