Funding Opportunities for Current Students

Continuing to fund your education can take on-going planning and action. Below are some resources and strategies to consider as you manage your finances during your academic program:

  • Scholarships

    The Office of International Affairs offers most scholarship funding through admission-based scholarships. However, there are scholarships available for continuing students. Places to look for these include:

    • Check with your department. After admission-based scholarships, departments can be a very good place to start looking for discipline specific funding.

    The MoneySmarts program can teach you how to make informed financial decisions. Plus, the cost of living in Indianapolis is 7 percent lower than the U.S. average.

    Office of International Affairs manages a limited amount of grant and loan funds to assist continuing international students with unpaid bursar balances if they are experiencing financial hardship that is unexpected and beyond their control
