John Mann is the Senior Director of Administration at IU Global Indianapolis. Mann is originally from Danville, Indiana and began working at IU Indianapolis in July 2019 as Director of International Admissions. He has been working since 2004 within multiple areas in the field of international education. Prior to joining IU Indianapolis, Mann served in several international roles at Ball State University including Director International Admissions and Recruitment, Project Manager in the Center for International Development, and as an International Student Advisor. He has also held international positions at South Dakota State University as a PDSO/RO and at the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina where he worked as contract faculty member teaching English. He has been Director and co-principal investigator on several international sponsored projects including higher education capacity building and international development grants sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, USAID, the U.S. Embassy Baghdad, the Institute for International Education, FHI360, IREX and the Meridian International Center. Mann holds a BA in History from the University of Southern Indiana, and earned a MA in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian studies as a Foreign Language and Area Studies fellow at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
