Lidsky Gonzalez is an International Scholar Advisor in the Office of International Affairs. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology from IUI in 2020. She was an OTEAM leader, mentor, and coordinator, as well as president for AMSA. In addition, she was an Administrative Assistant for the IU School of Medicine. After graduating, she received her TEFL certification to teach English abroad and decided to teach in South Korea. She was only supposed to teach for a year but after experiencing a different culture and enjoying her time there, she decided to stay for another year. While teaching in South Korea, she also completed her master’s in psychology from Purdue University Global.

She hopes to help scholars enjoy their time here in the U.S. while also providing a smooth transition into their visa goals. Lidsky understands how long and challenging the process is, but also how it is very rewarding when it is successful.
