Partner Scholarship Opportunities
International Partner Outstanding Scholar Award $18,000 USD per year
- UT GPA required: 17-20
- $9000 USD each Fall and Spring semester during first year of enrollment
- Renew this award for Year 2 by maintaining a cumulative IU Indianapolis GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Total for 2 years = $36,000 USD
International Partner Academic Merit Award $11,000 USD per year
- UT GPA required: 14-16
- $5,500 USD each Fall and Spring semester during first year of enrollment
- Renew this award for Year 2 by maintaining a cumulative IU Indianapolis GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Total for 2 years = $22,000 USD
Program Expenses

Application Process and Deadlines
Application must be submitted by: March 1, 2018 for enrollment in the Fall 2018 term beginning August X, 2018.
Admission is possible for Fall Semester only.

Application Fee
You will be asked to pay the nonrefundable $65 application fee.
Official Academic Records
You must submit transcripts, including work already completed and work currently in progress.
Within 48 hours of submitting the online application, you will receive an email from oiaunder@iu.edu that has instructions about how to submit your documents. You will submit them electronically through iStart, our online portal for international students. You will have to supply the original documents before you enroll.

As a non-native speaker of English, if you score below 95 on the iBT (Internet Based TOEFL) or 7.0 on the IELTS, then you will take the IU Indianapolis English for Academic Purposes (EAP) exam. All University of Tehran students who score 80 or more on the iBt or 6.5 or above on the IELTS will be required to take no more than one EAP course. If you score lower than 80 on the iBT or 6.5 on the IELTS, then you will need to take EAP courses as determined by the EAP results. University of Tehran students should be aware that payment for the cost of these courses is the responsibility of the student. EAP courses are billed at the same rate as all other out-of-state credit bearing courses.

We need to make sure that your name on your I-20 immigration document (to obtain your visa to enter the U.S.) exactly matches your name on your admission letter and the name on your passport.
Financial Support Agreement
Estimated expenses for 2018 will be posted in Summer 2017.
Information Release Form
This form will completed at a later date and allows IU Indianapolis administrators to communicate with the University of Tehran administrators about your grades and academic issues. United States privacy laws require that we have your permission to do this.
Recommendation Letter from University of Tehran Department
Your University of Tehran academic department may write their own recommendation letter, or, they may submit the sample letter with your application materials. The letter must state that you are eligible to apply to apply for this program.
After You Apply
After you submit your application and all of your materials, the waiting period until you hear if you have been admitted is usually four to six weeks.
